Responsibilities:
- Research and write informative articles on a wide range of home improvement topics
- Ensure content is accurate, comprehensive, and free of errors
- Adhere to House Reimagined’s style guide and content guidelines
- Work closely with the editorial team and receive feedback on manuscript drafts
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience writing about home improvement, DIY, or related industries
- Demonstrable knowledge of various home improvement topics and techniques
- Ability to write clear, engaging content that is easy to understand for a broad audience
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload efficiently
Social Media Manager
Our social media manager will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our online presence across multiple platforms. This role is essential in communicating our brand’s message, showcasing our content, and driving user engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and execute House Reimagined’s social media strategy
- Create engaging, on-brand content for our various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.)
- Monitor and respond to user comments and messages on social media channels
- Track and analyze social media performance and use insights to optimize future content
- Collaborate with the content team to leverage and promote our articles across social platforms
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management for brands or online publications
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
- Strong copywriting and visual content creation skills
- Analytical mindset to track and optimize social media performance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Video Editor
House Reimagined is seeking a skilled video editor to create and edit short-form videos to accompany our articles and promote our content on various platforms. The video editor will work closely with our editorial and social media teams to bring our content to life through engaging visual storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce short-form videos for our website and social media channels
- Collaborate with the content team to develop ideas for video content that enhances our articles
- Ensure videos are well-structured, informative, and visually appealing
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and adapt video content accordingly
- Assure all video content adheres to House Reimagined brand guidelines and quality standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in video editing, preferably for online publications or brands
- Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- A strong eye for aesthetics, design, and visual storytelling
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
